Hazardous Oils

This list shows oils that should not normally be used in aromatherapy. Some are used by qualified aromatherapy practitioners who understand the risks and feel they can use them in specific circumstances, however, they are risky and do present hazards. Other hazardous oils will certainly exist so it is safe to assume that an oil is risky unless an expert has shown it to be safe or to be safe within specified parameters of use. Do not take risks with oils.
